The Camargo Fellowship is the flagship programme of the Camargo Basis. Since 1971, the Camargo Basis has awarded residencies to greater than 1 500 people as a part of its mission to help ground-breaking analysis, experimentation, and interdisciplinary approaches within the arts and humanities.
Annually, a panel of students and humanities professionals selects people or groups from a whole bunch of submissions from around the globe. The laureates are awarded a 10-week residency in a surprising, contemplative setting the place they’ve the area, time, and freedom to assume, create, and join. For this upcoming 2025-2026 version, 14 candidates shall be chosen for a residency as a part of the programme. With every cohort of fellows, the inspiration strives to foster connections between analysis and creation.
