A former member of the Home of Representatives, Hon Kabiru Yahaya Traditional has defected from the Peoples Democratic Celebration, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Traditional introduced his defection on Thursday after assembly with the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani and the Chairman, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Political Group, Alhaji Lawal M Liman, in addition to different Zamfara APC stakeholders in Kaduna.
In response to the previous lawmaker, who represented Anka/Talata Mafara Federal Constituency between 2019 and 2023, beneath the umbrella of the PDP, he defected together with the PDP construction in Talata Mafara Native Authorities Space, together with the PDP LG Executives and 10 out of 11 PDP Ward chairmen in Talata Mafara LGA.
The previous lawmaker stated that he defected from the PDP as a result of there isn’t a justice and equity in Zamfara PDP.
“I Kabiru Yahaya Traditional, immediately, Thursday Nov. 7, 2024, want to announce my defection from the PDP to the Progressive Celebration, the APC.
“I’m defecting with all PDP buildings in Talata Mafara Native Authorities Space, together with the Native Authorities EXCO of the PDP and the ten out of 11 Ward chairmen of the PDP,” he stated.
Receiving the ex-lawmaker, the State APC Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani described his defection as a welcome growth to the APC.
“We’re joyful to obtain our brother in our nice social gathering, it is a nice growth.
“Extra defectors from the PDP-led Authorities in Zamfara prepared to hitch the APC very quickly

Additionally talking, the Chairman, Sen Yari’s Political Group, Alhaji Lawal M Liman recommended Traditional and different defectors for becoming a member of the progressive crew.
