Police in Colombia have arrested a glamourous alleged assassin, identified by her nickname “La Muneca,” or “The Doll,” in reference to a string of gang killings, together with the latest homicide of her ex-boyfriend.
Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, 23, was taken into custody this week alongside a male suspect and 24-year-old Paula Valentina Joya Rueda – who reportedly goes by the alias “Gorda Sicaria,” or “Fats Hitwoman” – in response to social media video shared by the Magdalena Medio area’s police power.
Police describe Rodriguez as a “harmful hitwoman.” Native information outlet Diario del Norte says Rodriguez has been second-in-command of a feared gang known as “Los de la M,” which battles with different gangs for the management of drug trafficking within the nation’s northern area of Santander.
Spanish-language outlet Libertad Digital stories that Rodriguez had been rising in the gang’s ranks, allegedly main a small group of hitmen to hold out assassinations previous to her arrest.

The police stated Rodriguez and the male suspect, recognized by the alias “Leopoldo,” have been taken into custody for possession of a 9mm handgun. Authorities say they are going to run ballistics exams on the firearm, to find out whether or not it had been utilized in crimes within the metropolis of Barrancabermeja.
Lt. Col. Mauricio Herrera described the arrests as “necessary ends in combating homicide.”
“With the seize of alias La Muneca and alias Leopoldo, a period of calm has been created within the area,” Herrera continued, per Infobae.
Diario del Norte stories that Rodriguez has reportedly had ties to the felony underworld since age 18.
Authorities have but to announce the fees Rodriquez and her alleged accomplices are set to face.
